Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 27 May 2026

The short version

Every new user gets a free 7-day trial — 2 full interviews, every feature unlocked, no credit card required. That's the evaluation period. Once you've upgraded to a paid plan, charges already collected are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime from inside the app and the next charge stops immediately.

1. Free trial

Caliber starts every new user on a free trial: 2 full interviews or 7 days from install, whichever comes first. The trial unlocks every feature — transcription, brief, scorecard, AI authenticity detection, vision mode, screen-share invisibility — with no credit card required. When you hit either limit, the app prompts you to subscribe. Your settings and data are preserved across the transition.

This is where we want you to decide whether Caliber is for you. Two real interviews with the full product is a meaningfully better evaluation than a "money-back guarantee" used after a month of paid usage.

2. Paid plans — no refunds after charge

3. Exceptions we will refund

We refund the following case-by-case, no friction:

Email [email protected] with your account ID (visible in Caliber's titlebar menu under "About Caliber") and we'll respond within 24 business hours.

4. Annual plans

Annual plans are billed up-front at the discounted annual rate (20% off monthly). They are non-refundable for change-of-mind, but cancellation stops the auto-renewal at the end of the annual period. Use the 7-day free trial before committing to an annual term.

5. Disputed charges & chargebacks

If you don't recognize a charge or believe one is incorrect, email us first — we'll investigate and refund legitimate errors faster than your bank's dispute process. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that is not a billing error (e.g. as an alternative to cancelling) results in account suspension and forfeit of trial-renewal eligibility on the same payment method.

6. Free trial abuse

Each customer gets one trial. If we detect a single user or organization creating multiple accounts to extend the trial repeatedly, we may suspend access to all related accounts.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails (insufficient funds, expired card, UPI mandate revoked), we'll retry once and then move the subscription to "paused." You won't be billed further; the app moves to read-only. Resubscribe any time to restore full access — your data is preserved.

8. How refunds are processed (when applicable)

Refunds for the exception cases in §3 are issued by Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record). Refunds appear on the same payment method you used to pay. Typical processing time:
